AHK-Cu
AHK-Cu in the T&T Supplies peptide lexicon: research reference with mechanism, reported effects, limitations and literature data. Evidence grade C+.
Mechanism
Tripeptide analogue of GHK-Cu with higher affinity for hair follicle receptors. Activates Wnt/β-catenin pathway in hair follicles. Upregulates VEGF in follicle microvasculature.
Reported effects
Hair density and thickness improvement. Potentially superior to GHK-Cu for scalp applications. Can be used topically or subcut. Anti-inflammatory in follicle microenvironment.
Limitations
Less research than GHK-Cu overall. Mostly in-vitro data. Higher cost per mg. Limited human studies specifically.
